How does Capped Price Servicing differ from normal servicing?
For Mercedes van owners in Australia, Capped Price Servicing means that the cost of logbook services for the first 5 years is fixed upfront.
This is designed to give owners peace of mind because they know exactly what each service will cost.
Owners can visit a Mercedes dealer to receive the Capped Price Servicing – Or they can visit Eurostar Diesels for Capped Price Servicing and save on cost.
When does Capped Price Servicing apply to a Mercedes?
At the dealer, it typically only applies to newer vehicles that were a part of the Capped Price program from new – and Mercedes don’t usually honour pricing if you’ve serviced outside of their dealer network.
However, at Eurostar, you can take advantage of our Capped Price Servicing at any point during those first 5 services!
(We even have service packages that continue for vehicles after those first 5 services too!)
Are there other costs to consider outside of Capped Price Servicing?
While the Capped Price Servicing program covers the cost of scheduled maintenance, it does not cover some items, such as:
Wear-and-tear parts: Items like brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades, batteries, tyres, and any clutch components that wear based on the vehicle’s use.
Repairs and accidental damage: Any mechanical or electrical faults, or repairs outside of routine servicing due to the way a vehicle has been driven or has been damaged due to an accident.
Additional fluids: Fluids that aren’t normally changed during scheduled services (like coolant fluid).
Non-standard items: Anything outside the scheduled service scope, such as wheel alignments, detailing, or accessories.
Out-of-schedule services: Extra maintenance you might request outside the standard service schedule (like an early oil change).

What's Capped Price Servicing?
Mercedes-Benz (as well as most car brands) offer their first number of scheduled services with a fixed price to help owners with future budgeting.
Interestingly, while Capped Price Servicing is “transparent” in pricing from the Mercedes Dealership, it isn’t the cheapest way to service and maintain your Mercedes in Melbourne.
